Car Martin is a designer, artist and educator working on three-dimensional projects of all scales, Much of Car’s work revolves around the many interfaces between social and physical systems, exploring new ways for people to participate and collaborate in the making of places and things.
Car practices as an architectural designer as a member of the team at Creative Union Network and is also a professor at the GBC School of Design in Interaction Design, Digital Experience Design and the Interactive Media Management program, all emerging interdisciplinary design programs engaging technology, prototyping and spatial design.
Car has a Masters of Architecture from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of the arts from the University of Toronto. In a previous life Car founded an award-winning community bike space and spent many years managing projects in the not-for-profit sector.
